All Flixton Sawmill buildings are constructed using heavy duty 2x2 (finished at 45mm x 45mm) PSE framework, boarded roof and flooring.
Doors are pre hung on the right-hand side, with 3 hinges, 1 lock and 2 turn buttons. We fit as many windows as possible down one side panel (horticultural glass).
We use a high-quality polyester strand mineral felt.
Garden buildings are made from pressure, preservative treated (tanalised) slow grown redwood, grown in northern Sweden, available in two types of cladding, 16mm (finished at 12mm) Shiplap, and 25mm (finished at 19mm) Barrel board. Roof cladding and flooring is made from our 16mm (finished at 12mm) Tongue and Groove boarding.
Our Value range sheds are built to a different specification. We use 38mm x 38mm framework and straight sawn overlap boarding and everything still preservative treated.
